Privacy Policy


Overview

MinuteBase collects e-mail addresses of people who send us e-mail. We also collect information on what pages users access and information provided to us by users via site registrations. Such information may contain personal data about you including your address, phone numbers etc. We are not allowed to disclose such personal information without your written permission. However, certain information collected from you and about you is used within the context of providing MinuteBase services. The information we collect is not shared with or sold to others except under the certain circumstances and which your use of MinuteBase services is deemed to provide to us a valid consent to disclose the following:

  • In order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
  • MinuteBase does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested or when we have your permission.
  • We transfer information about you if MinuteBase is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, MinuteBase will notify you by email before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Information Gathering and Usage

  • When you register for MinuteBase we ask for information such as your name, company name, email address, billing address, credit card information. Members who sign up for the free account are not required to enter a credit card.
  • Your credit card information is not stored in MinuteBase's database and is used solely to setup recurring billing with our payment provider (Spreedly) who are fully PCI DSS compliant.
  • MinuteBase uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.

Cookies

  • A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.
  • Cookies are required to use the MinuteBase service.
  • We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to log-in to your MinuteBase Account Site after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

Data Storage

MinuteBase uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run MinuteBase. MinuteBase owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the MinuteBase application however we make no claim to the rights of your data. You retain all rights to your data and we will never contact your clients directly, or use your data for our own business advantage or to compete with you or market to your clients.

Disclosure

MinuteBase may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

Changes

MinuteBase may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your MinuteBase primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
